A mountain retreat and a free Bible study app

Deeply rooted in God. Connected to one another.

Life moves quickly. We make room to pause, explore Scripture, and reconnect—with God and with each other—through a riverfront retreat home in the Blue Ridge Mountains and a free Bible study app, now in its Ephesians beta.

Two expressions of one purpose

The retreat creates room to pause and reconnect. The app helps Christians explore Scripture across traditions and discover shared beliefs. Each is its own work, with its own next step and its own needs.

Go deeper. Make room for another perspective.

Read a passage, then see how eight Christian traditions interpret it, what the historical record shows, and where scholars agree and differ—with cited sources you can check. Built with curious small-group leaders in mind.

Three lenses on every passage of Ephesians

Open any passage and the text appears first. Beneath it, three tabs: how eight Christian traditions read it, how it was understood across history, and where current scholarship agrees and differs. Every passage lists its sources.

  • All six chapters of Ephesians, divided into 36 passages.
  • Eight traditions compared: Catholic, Orthodox, Lutheran, Reformed, Methodist, Baptist, Anglican, and Pentecostal.
  • AI-assisted research, not yet independently reviewed. Funding a scholarly review team is our next priority.
  • Free, in any browser, with no account and no advertising.

“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

Psalm 1:3, King James Version

Why we're called PsalmOneThree

While considering whether a home beside a river could serve a greater purpose than rental income, our founder was given this verse by several people, independently, within a few days. The picture of a tree planted beside water became the anchor for the decision—and for the ministry's name.
